Cunas con cargo adicional. It's a very tired, ill kept facility, more along the lines of the SureStay level brand. Absolutely nothing provided for breakfast, not even coffee. Ice machine broke and leaked all over the floor for 2 days. No effort made to turn it off or even clean up the puddles which eventually dried on their own Ice machine then worked with dirt in every load.
No one was ever out at the front desk, you have to call them and they wander up, taking as long as 15 minutes. Lots of other hotels in the area, we'll give one a try next time. When you book online I'm pretty sure it doesn't say cash only. Anyways take my word when they require you to pay with cash only. There is an ATM but was out of service.
Expect NO breakfast any morning you stay. The Room they gave me was dirty and looked like it wasn't cleaned from prior guests. It Was really below my expectations for the money they charge and online false advertising. I don't give bad reviews unless it's absolutely deserved.
The owner responded to my google review blaming me and and thats exactly why I won't be staying at best western again. Hope to see you again soon! Website advertised pillow top beds. No beds had them. They were more like pancake top beds.
Furniture looked like it came from a Goodwill store. The place needs a little TLC. The room smelled like smoke! Dirty room! Bloody pillows in the hallway with shady characters partying and being loud! Look somewhere else! Unless you don't want to sleep! Once arriving at this location, we noticed a mound of trash in the back of the parking lot. Then, once entering the hotel, there was a pungent smell of mold in the lobby and swimming area and the actual room. Once checking in, we noticed an error on the invoice. Not feeling comfortable taking the elevator, we took the stairs, and the smell of mold was present there as well.
Once in the room, we again noticed the mold smell, and sooner after, we determined that AC was broken. Waiting for a few minutes, we decided to cancel our stay. Once in the lobby area, we overheard housekeeping saying, "Someone is stuck in the elevator or that it was stuck. She attempted to cancel our stay but was unable to due to needing the Manager's approval. She informed me that I needed to call back and speak with her the Manager later that night.
After calling multiple times that evening, we could not talk to her since she didn't return to work -talk about a horrible manager. I then called the next day, and she the Manager mentioned not canceling the reservation. With the ignorance, blatant disrespect, and unprofessionalism, I knew it wasn't worth my time, so I contacted corporate to handle this matter further. We moved to 3 different rooms trying to stay here we aren't overly picky the odor in two of the rooms was unbearable!
The stains and dust cover was worst I've ever seen! The staff person on duty was nice and tried to help but we stayed only one night and left to stay elsewhere, the staff said would refund the other 2 nights but the manager Brittany denied upon checkout- this hotel was so bad that we paid for two more nights in another BW Plus in Columbiana as well as our nights here just to get out!
Definately does not meet BW plus status! I invite the corporate to visit randomly- PS- the Columbiana BW plus may be the nicest in the nation 5 stars for that one! Since we have family in the area we had stayed at this hotel many times pre Covid and we just booked as usual. Very disappointed in the changes. Check in was fine. First room was had a disgusting odor…stale, smoke, mold…not sure what , but very obvious as soon as we opened the door.
Went right down and were ased another room down the hall. That was better. The whole hotel is not as clean as before. Hallway, stairwell and entrances were not vacuumed daily as the same dust and paper were there for more than 2 days. No maid service, only 2 towels in the room, no breakfast available even though the website says it is available , and many people clustered around outside smoking at all times of the day and night.
We did not use the pool, but people did.. This will not be our go to hotel in the area anymore and certainly wish we had read the recent review of others before we booked this time. We can no longer recommend this hotel…. There are many others in the area to choose from. This place is just gross.
Everything is old and dirty. Hotel smells like pot constantly. Look at the light…broken bulb with bare wires sticking out. Look behind the dresser. TV Doesn't work because jack is completely pulled out of wall. Remote batteries dead.
Tons of crap behind dresser…Gatorade bottle, food wrapper and junk. This place should be condemned. Also no breakfast just boxes of junk stacked everywhere in dining area. Obviously the owner is struggling financially and the comments are consistently one star for almost 2 years straight.
Never should have stayed here. Sleeping in your car would be a ificant improvement over this place. Not sure how they are still in business but it's horribly bad. I come from a Marriott back ground and appalled at the filth, smell of drugs, lady of the nights at this Akron Ohio location hotel.
No AC in rooms and hallways, pool broken and close. No breakfast as advertised nothing offered. Do not waste your time. I'm appalled. So upon entry the room had a weird feeling of uncleanliness. And normally during those times we just look and see how bad it is and if it's worth staying in. It quickly went from uncleanliness to downright disgusting. When asked if we could speak to a manager she said she was the manager.
As that the only thing she could do was switch us rooms, but that was it. No refunds or anything. Considering we only stayed a maximum of two hours and it was that bad I find that answer to be extremely unacceptable.Seeking puddle and Akron
