Leesburg, VA April 28, — Leesburg Police Detectives have charged a Leesburg man related to a series of incidents that occurred Tuesday evening in northeast Leesburg. On April 27, shortly after PM, Leesburg Police Dispatchers received a call in which a commotion could be heard.
LPD Dispatchers were able to determine that a subject had forced entry into a residence in the block of Edwards Ferry Road NE and had grabbed an adult female in the residence. An adult male in the residence struck the suspect with a household object, at which time the suspect released the female and fled the residence on foot. Leesburg Patrol Officers responded to the area and located the suspect on foot, taking him into custody without further incident. A subsequent investigation revealed that prior to entering the residence on Edwards Ferry Road NE, Lacey had forced entry into an unoccupied residence in the block of Washington Street NE, leaving that residence in a state of disarray.
James Lacey III has been charged with destruction of property, unlawful entry, burglary, assault, abduction, and attempted carjacking. The investigation has revealed that Lacey did not know any of the victims and that they were not specifically targeted. Lacey is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond, and there is no further danger to the community. The incidents remain under investigation by the Leesburg Police Department.
Anyone who has information about any of the incidents and who has not already spoken to law enforcement is asked to contact Detective J. Mocello at or at jmocello leesburgva. Contact Utilities. Jump to sub View Full Site.Adult dating Leesburg Virginia
